DRESS CODE: WARM WEATHER CLOTHING

Dress Code: Warm Weather Clothing
Appropriate school attire is expected from all students everyday. Very short skirts or short pants (i.e. above mid-thigh), cropped shirts (i.e. shirts which expose the stomach area) “tube tops” and some tank tops (i.e. “spaghetti straps”) are not suitable for school.

Also, please be aware that backless sandals pose a threat to safety in crowded halls and staircases (no rubber “thongs” or “flip flops” please) and are PROHIBITED. Additionally, pajamas tops or pajama pants are not appropriate for school.

Students will take the New York State Science Test Performance section between April 8th and May 8th. The Written Section of the test is scheduled for April 30th.

SCIENCE PACKS FOR 4th GRADERS

Only 4th graders will receive a Spring packet during the vacation. This packet focuses on questions about the Science curriculum to prepare the students for their NYS Science Assessment in May.

SPRING STUDY PACKETS

Students in grades 3-7 will be receiving ELA and Math packets to help them prepare for the upcoming New York State Asessments. Please take the time to go over the packets with your child, check their work and sign the cover of the packets.

BOOK FAIR THIS MONTH

The Scholastic Book Fair comes to us! Students will get a chance to shop for books with their class at their scheduled times. Books will be available at half the cover price.
